The BLAST Premier Fall Series and Showdown will take an online format due to travel restrictions, the organizers have announced.
The two tournaments have also been rescheduled slightly amid changes to the format, with the Fall Series moved to take place a week later, on October 22-November 4, while the Showdown will be held on November 23-29.
The organizers also commented on the fate of the Finals tournament, planned for December 8-13, saying they will monitor the development of the global situation closely with hopes of organizing the last tournament of the fall season on LAN.

The opening two tournaments of the BLAST fall season will thus be played across two regional divisions, the Americas and Europe. The following twelve partnered teams will take part in the Fall Series in their respective divisions, which will be played in a double elimination format made up of two groups in Europe and one in the Americas:
